Man charged with attempted murder after fight with girlfriend

A Tampa man has been charged with attempted murder after an argument with his girlfriend, Tampa police said.
According to a police report, Anthony Marmolejo, 18, 4902 S. MacDill Ave., was arguing with his 17-year-old girlfriend at her home on West Idaho Street about 4:30 p.m. Thursday when he got a large knife and cut her on her hands and neck. The victim received a 4-inch cut on her neck.
They had been living together, but she moved out four days before, according to the report.
Marmolejo was arrested at the scene and taken to Central Booking, police said. He is being held without bail.
