Young graduates, we apologize for handing you so many turbulences to tackle: a war, inflation, debt, political unrest and an uncertain future. But before you put blame and shame on us, let me share this with you.
Your mothers, fathers, grandparents and families gave you so much. They fought wars and won. Many lived on pennies a day to give you a better life. They went in debt to educate you. And America built a nation envied by the world.
Your future will be decided by how you grip turbulences, how you study history and how you spend your inheritance from past experiences.
What you can see, young graduates, is not all clear. What you can't see is that love and hope will always be yours and will always be strong. That we leave you.
