Tampa police: Man uses knife in sex attack on friend

TAMPA - A 23-year-old man performed a sexual act on a friend against her will Sunday morning, Tampa police say.
The woman gave Ronald Terrance a ride to his apartment about 3 a.m. Sunday, and they went inside. Terrance told her he wanted to have sex with her, and she said no but he touched her inappropriately anyway, an arrest report states. During the struggle, Terrance threatened the woman with a knife.
She wasn't hurt by the knife but suffered minor injuries from the struggle, according to the report.
Police arrested Terrance about 12:39 a.m. today. He was charged with one count of sexual battery and remains in jail, with no bail set.
