TAMPA - Junior Dominique Jones and junior transfer Jarrid Famous each scored 20 points to lead the University of South Florida to a 110-79 win against Florida Southern College in an exhibition game Tuesday night at the Sun Dome.
Senior Mike Mercer and freshman Toarlyn Fitzpatrick added 17 and 14 points, respectively.
Terry Jenkins led the Mocs with 17 points.
The Bulls scored more than 100 points for the first time since Nov. 17, 2007 against Florida Atlantic.
The Bulls open the regular season against Southern Methodist in Dallas on Nov. 13, then return to the Sun Dome for the home opener on Nov. 16 against Virginia.
Florida Southern next plays another exhibition Monday at the University of Miami.
