PLANT CITY - Teenagers will have plenty to do this month at Bruton Memorial Library, 302 W. McLendon St.
There are three free events for students in the sixth through 12th grades, Computer Services Librarian Angie Neely said.
The events will include:
Game Zone, from 4 to 6 p.m. Nov. 12, which will include video games and snacks provided by Friends of Bruton Memorial Library.
Teen Movie Night, from 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. Nov. 16, will include the showing of a popular teen vampire movie on a big screen.
Teen Anime Club, from 7 to 8:45 p.m. Nov. 23, where teens watch an anime show or movie on the big screen and vote on which anime to watch at the next meeting.
The library typically sponsors one or two Game Zones and one Teen Amine Club meeting per month although the schedule varies, Neely said. Bruton Memorial has been offering teen nights for some time to encourage interest in the library, she said.
The library staff wants teens to view the library as a "welcoming, comfortable place" that offers a fun place for them to gather, Neely said.
