Williams puzzled by lack of progress

IRVING, Texas - Roy Williams remains the Dallas Cowboys' No. 1 receiver, at least in his mind.

After putting in a lot of extra offseason work with quarterback Tony Romo, Williams is stunned they haven't made more progress.

"I'm the No. 1 receiver," Williams said. "But things are just going No. 2's way."

No. 2 is Miles Austin, who has set an NFL record with 482 yards in his first three starts, scoring on five of his 21 catches.

"He gets the ball thrown correctly his way," Williams said of Austin. "I'm stretching and falling and doing everything. Everybody (else) who's been here's balls are there. Our footballs (from Romo to Williams) are everywhere right now."

EAGLES: Brian Westbrook is set to return from his latest injury when the Eagles host the Cowboys on Sunday.

Westbrook missed the Eagles' rout of the Giants last week with a concussion.

RAIDERS: Coach Tom Cable says he has spoken with team owner Al Davis about allegations that Cable has a history of violent behavior toward women.

Cable said Wednesday he talked to Davis within the past two days and will keep the content of the conversation private. He says his job status was not discussed and he plans to coach the team for the remainder of the season.
