TAMPA - Strayer University will host a workshop Saturday, Nov. 7, for job seekers hoping to learn ways to harness online and social media to advance their careers.
The free 90-minute sessions "are designed to help area adults sharpen their job searching and networking skills, using out-of-the-box tools like social media sites to better connect and market themselves," said Rosemary Rose, regional vice president for Strayer University.
The workshop will be held 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., and include reviews of resumes by career counselors, at Strayer's location near Westshore, at 4902 Eisenhower Boulevard, Suite 100 in Tampa. Preregistration is required at www.strayer.edu/CareerPower.
