NEED TO KNOW: Senior Mackenzi Adams, who has started nine games in his career, will start at quarterback for Vanderbilt in place of Larry Smith, who likely will miss the remainder of the season with a hamstring injury. Adams has completed 21 of 37 passes for 239 yards this season. ... Freshman return man Warren Norman has been a weapon for Vanderbilt. Norman is just the second player in SEC history to return three kickoffs for touchdowns in the same season. Norman needs 51 kickoff return yards against the Gators to break the single-season record held by Arkansas' Dennis Johnson.
