Fire crews working large fire in Alafia River State Park

LITHIA - Hillsborough County Fire Rescue and the state Division of Forestry are working an uncontrolled brush fire of about 500 acres tonight at Alafia River State Park in eastern Hillsborough County.
On the scene are two battalion chiefs, four engines, one tanker and three brush trucks from Hillsborough County Fire Rescue. The Department of Forestry has sent two dozer-plow units.
No buildings are in immediate danger, according to Hillsborough County Fire Rescue.
