Wife sees man shot dead in argument with roommate

Two Gulfport roommates got into an argument that turned deadly Saturday night when one man shot the other in front of the victim's wife.

Donald Price, 52, was shot in the head and killed and roommate Riley Bryan, 67, was arrested, the Gulfport Police Department said.

Police said they did not know what Price and Bryan were arguing about when Bryan got a gun about 9 p.m. and started shooting. The shooting occurred in front of three witnesses, including Price's wife, at a house at 2620 49th St. S.

One of the several shots fired hit Price.

Bryan told dispatchers when he called that he did the shooting, police said.

Ryan was charged with homicide and three counts of aggravated battery, police said.
