Kennedy reopens after wreck at Dale Mabry

TAMPA - Kennedy Boulevard is open in both directions again this morning.

Authorities closed the road at Dale Mabry Highway for about two hours while officials replace a Tampa Electric Co. power pole damaged in a traffic accident, the Tampa Police Department said.

The pole was damaged in a three-vehicle accident at Kennedy Boulevard and Westland Street about 9:30 p.m.

No one was injured in the wreck. The damaged pole did not cause any power outages, said Rick Morera, a TECO spokesman.
