New ramp eases S.R. 60 traffic headed to Memorial Highway

This is how the new ramp will look for drivers heading east on S.R. 60 (Courtney Campbell Causeway).

TAMPA - A new ramp is scheduled to open by 5:30 a.m. today to allow another option for motorists using the Courtney Campbell Causeway.

This new ramp from eastbound State Road 60 (Courtney Campbell Causeway) going onto southbound Memorial Highway will provide additional separation of traffic heading toward Tampa International Airport and I‐275.

Traffic going to Spruce Street/Cypress Street and the airport will continue to use the same ramp.

However, drivers going to I‐275 or Kennedy Boulevard will want to use the new ramp, which will enter southbound Memorial from the left side and into a new lane, avoiding the traffic exiting to Spruce Street/Cypress Street or Tampa International Airport.
