Man accused of molesting 7-year-old

ST. PETERSBURG - A 31-year-old Indian Rocks Beach man was arrested Tuesday on charges of capital sexual battery and lewd and lascivious molestation on a child under 12, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.

Matthew Sackett, a self-employed landscaper, allegedly gained access to the victim during a sleepover at his home. The incident happened in April, but detectives didn't start to investigate until Nov. 6 when the girl's mother contacted deputies.

The girl was 7 at the time of the incident.
