So 220 members of Congress thought it was OK to straddle us with even higher taxes and more debt - debt that will be passed on to our children and grandchildren.

Unfortunately, this is not about offering health care to all citizens. Rather, this is a pure power grab to control yet another industry as well as our lives.

Many current leaders of the Democratic Party are "elitists" who think they know better than you how to run your lives. The government cannot solve all of our problems, and our Founding Fathers knew this. That is why the Constitution was written to limit our government. But this is a lesson we seem to have forgotten. Please name one department in government that is not full of cost overruns and wasting tax money.

The health care legislation is going to break us. We can only hope it gets bogged down in the Senate.
