Jam band extraordinaire Phish returns to Phlorida, er, Florida for a four night stand at Miami's American Airlines Arena in late December.
The group will perform Dec. 28-31 at the facility, capping a year that saw the band's first shows in four years and a new studio album, "Joy."
Online ticket requests currently are being taken now through Sunday, Nov. 15 at http://phish.portals.musictoday.com/. General public ticket sales begin at 10 a.m. Nov. 21 by telephone or online at ticketmaster.com
Phish recently played to 40,000 fans at Festival 8 in Indio, Calif. The festival included the band's Halloween concert, at which it performs another band's album in its entirety. This year's choice was The Rolling Stones' 1972 double-disc "Exile on Main Street."
Tampa area Phish fans may recall that the band played "Loving Cup" from "Exile" at its February 1993 show at Ybor City's Ritz Theatre.
