Q. I've heard that women are having miscarriages as a result of the vaccine. Is this true or more anti-vaccine hype?

A. Dealing with miscarriage is a personal tragedy, and it's something more than 14,000 women experience each week in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. However, there are no specific cases reported to the CDC linking miscarriage to the H1N1 vaccine. They've included this concern on the "myths" page of their influenza Web site at the link below.
