Police seek clues after Sarasota bicyclist slain

Sarasota police say a man was killed as he rode his bicycle early this morning.
Johnny L. Ball was found in the 1400 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way about 1:45 a.m.
Detectives did not release how he died but said it was a homicide.
The 45-year-old man was a long-time Sarasota resident who was sometimes homeless, police said.
