BEREA, Ohio - Brady Quinn is getting his second chance at starting.
Quinn, benched just 10 quarters into the season for Derek Anderson, will start Monday night's game against the Ravens. He was pulled at halftime of the Browns' 34-3 loss to Baltimore on Sept. 27, and will make his return against one of the NFL's toughest defenses.
"I'm excited to play," Quinn said. "I'm excited to be a part of Monday night. Every team in the NFL is tough, them especially. We've got our hands full right now."
Browns coach Eric Mangini has decided to go back to Quinn after Anderson went 1-4 as a starter and posted the NFL's lowest quarterback rating (36.2). Mangini said he would like to stick with Quinn for the remainder of the season.
BILLS: The team is going back to quarterback Trent Edwards, who missed two games with a concussion. Backup Ryan Fitzpatrick started the past two games. Also, receiver James Hardy (knee surgery) was activated by the team after spending the first nine weeks of the season on the reserve/physically-unable-to-perform list.
CHIEFS: Put guard Mike Goff on injured reserve and signed linebacker Justin Rogers.
EAGLES: The NFL has suspended cornerback Joselio Hanson four games for violating the league's ban on performance enhancing substances.
Hanson's attorney, David Cornwell, says his client was suspended after testing positive for a diuretic before last year's NFC Championship Game against Arizona. Cornwell says Hanson felt bloated after eating and took a pill that "turned out to be a diuretic."
Also, cornerback and kick returner Ellis Hobbs was placed on injured reserve with a neck injury suffered Sunday.
REDSKINS: Coach Jim Zorn says running back Clinton Portis is "very, very doubtful" to play Sunday because of a concussion.
TIME CHANGE: The Bears-Vikings game Nov. 29 has been moved from 1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
TITANS: The team has run several tests on receiver Justin Gage, checking him out after a high, leaping catch against San Francisco has left him sore from head to toe. Gage missed practice Wednesday and says he hasn't received the test results yet.
VIKINGS: The latest injury Brett Favre must fight to maintain his record durability streak is a pulled groin muscle. Back from his bye week, Favre said he believes he'll be fine.
Favre said he was hurt in practice two weeks ago and aggravated the injury in pregame warmups at Green Bay on Nov. 1.
