The USF men's basketball program signed point guard LaVonte Dority and center Waverly Austin to letters-of-intent, Coach Stan Heath announced.
Dority is a 6-foot point guard from Chicago's Edwin G. Foreman High, where he averaged 20 points, 6.0 assists and 4.8 rebounds. He is one of four Division I signees on his high school team.
Austin, 6-10, 250 pounds, is ranked by ESPN as the 54th-best center in the country. The native of Fredricksburg, Va., plays for Heat Basketball Academy in Martinsville, Va.
