TAMPA - Quentin Williams and Andre Davis took little time to assert themselves as Hillsborough County's top passing and receiving tandem. The area's leading passer, Williams put Jefferson (8-1) ahead on the Dragon's first play faking a hand off and then sending a pass down field to Davis for 67-yard strike.

The Dragons followed the opening play with strong defense and six consecutive scoring drives to defeat visiting Middleton (5-5).

Williams connected on the next drive with Davis for a 15-yard scoring strike, the tandem's 17th touchdown collaboration this season.

Williams went 14-for-16 for 312 yards and four touchdown passes before being relieved late in the second half.

The Dragons also had eight players combine for 274 yards on the ground, including LaDarius Moye who had 46 yards and two rushing touchdowns. The Dragons also got two touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving) from Chris Moore, a receiving touchdown from Fred Overstreet, and rushing touchdowns from Demetrius Russell, Jaquon Taliaferro and Nicholas Lahera.
