PLANT CITY - Quarterback Bennie Coney threw two first-quarter touchdowns, and Dazmond Patterson rushed for two more as Plant City beat Blake 51-9.

After the opening kickoff, Coney led his team down the field on a 14-play touchdown drive that lasted 6 minutes, 30 seconds and was capped by a 12-yard reception by Lamarlin Wiggins.

Blake fumbled on its first drive and Plant City's Jordan Prestwood later ran in a 4-yard touchdown, giving the Raiders two touchdowns in seven seconds. Cortez Hargett added a third touchdown on 26-yard reception from Coney to make the score 21-0.

All of Blake's scoring came in a 10-second span in the second quarter.

The Yellow Jackets first sacked Coney for a 6-yard loss and a safety. Jamario Nobles then took the ensuing kickoff 65 yards for a score.

Plant City duplicated the feat seven minutes later. After sacking Michael McFarland in the end zone, Sharrod Hardnett returned the kickoff 58 yards for a touchdown.

Patterson carried the ball 14 times for 101 yards, topping 1,200 rushing yards.
