Cigar enthusiasts and history buffs will unite Saturday in Ybor City for the 11th annual Cigar Heritage Festival, where master cigar makers Wallace and Margarita Reyes will try to break the world record for longest cigar.
The current record, set in 2006, is 30.78 meters.
There will also be live entertainment, a charity beer garden, cigar accessories for sale, a children's play area, food and cultural activities. Attendees are also invited to take tours of the Ybor City Museum State Park.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Centennial Park on Ninth Avenue between 18th and 19th streets. And if you go, check out the Ybor City Fresh Market, also at the park on Saturday.
