Not all felons deserve to be outcasts.
I was involved in a large corruption case more than 20 years ago. Served my time and resumed my life as a law-abiding citizen.
Just recently, I was hired by two different electrical companies at above-average wages. However, due to several new laws, I was denied access to a military base and work on another large government project.
I understand these laws and agree with them, but they should not be enforced unilaterally against all felons. If your prior conviction has nothing to do with the type of element they want to keep out, you should not be penalized again.
So, instead of getting up every morning to go to work, I go work out and collect unemployment.
