TAMPA - Police arrested a man and woman Sunday night, accusing them of stealing a computer from a department store and threatening the store's security officer with a knife.
Tampa police said the incident occurred at 8:37 p.m. Sunday at Walmart, 1505 N. Dale Mabry Highway. Police said the pair took a Dell desktop computer, valued at $498, from the store and passed it over the fence in the garden center to avoid alarms set up at the door.
Store security officers tried to stop the theft, but the male suspect pulled a knife and threatened them, police said.
A description of the getaway vehicle, a 2001 Dodge van, was passed on to Tampa police and an alert was sent out.
A short time later, police spotted the van in the Sulphur Springs area. It was stopped and the two occupants were arrested.

Johnson additionally was charged with driving with a suspended license and violation of probation. He remained jailed this morning with bail set at $17,250. Sepulveda also was in jail today. Bail for her was set at $15,000.
