ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Tate Forcier threw four interceptions and fumbled in his end zone, and No. 9 Ohio State took advantage to beat Michigan 21-10 Saturday for its sixth straight win in the series.
The Buckeyes (10-2, 7-1) clinched an outright Big Ten championship and will play in the Rose Bowl with a five-game winning streak.
The Wolverines started the season 4-0 and ended it 5-7. The flop came after a school-record nine-loss season in Rich Rodriguez's debut year with college football's winningest program.
Michigan has endured consecutive losing years for the first time since the 1962-63 seasons.
Forcier's first turnover came on his first drive, a fumble that Cameron Heyward recovered to give Ohio State a 7-0 lead. The freshman threw three interceptions in the fourth quarter, ruining Michigan's chances to come back in a game it trailed 14-10 in the third.
Terrelle Pryor wasn't spectacular, but didn't make many mistakes and made a key throw after Michigan pulled within four points. He perfectly lofted a screen pass to Dan Heron, whose 12-yard touchdown gave the Buckeyes a 21-10 lead.
NO. 15 IOWA 12,
MINNESOTA 0
IOWA CITY, Iowa - James Vandenberg threw for 117 yards, fellow freshman Brandon Wegher ran for a touchdown, and Iowa kept alive its hopes for a BCS bowl bid.
The victory gave the Hawkeyes (10-2, 6-2) double-digit wins for the first time since 2004, along with Floyd of Rosedale - a bronze pig awarded to the winner of the border rivalry - for the eighth time in nine tries.
It was only fitting that they awarded a hog after this one.
Iowa and Minnesota (6-6, 3-5) combined for more punts (17) than points, and were only 5-for-33 on third-down conversions.
NO. 13 PENN STATE 42,
MICHIGAN STATE 14
EAST LANSING, Mich. - Daryll Clark passed for 310 yards and four touchdowns as Penn State (10-2, 6-2) wrapped up its regular season with a victory against Michigan State (6-6, 4-4).
Clark moved into first place in the school's record book with 23 TD passes in a season and 42 in a career.
NORTHWESTERN 33,
NO. 17 WISCONSIN 31
EVANSTON, Ill. - Mike Kafka hit Andrew Brewer with two first-half touchdown passes, and Brian Peters and Jordan Mabin made key defensive plays late for Northwestern.
Northwestern (8-4, 5-3) improved its bowl positioning with its third straight victory. Fans swarmed Ryan Field after the victory, which wasn't clinched until Mabin intercepted Scott Tolzien with 42 seconds to go.
Wisconsin (8-3, 5-3) pulled to within 33-31 with 10:45 left when Tolzien found Garrett Graham wide open in the back of the end zone for a 13-yard pass.
PURDUE 38, INDIANA 21
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Joey Elliott threw a career-high four touchdown passes to help Purdue retain the Old Oaken Bucket.
Purdue (5-7, 4-4) won last year's game 62-10, and Indiana planned to use the rout as motivation. Indiana outgained Purdue 462 yards to 330, but the Hoosiers (4-8, 1-7) lost the turnover battle 4-0.
