TAMPA - Tampa Bay Tech had six rushers in double-digit yardage, including three with more than 100, as the Titans scored five rushing touchdowns in the second half to defeat the Ravens.
The Ravens passing offense, led by C.J. Bennett, kept pace with the TBT rushing game in the first half as each team scored a rushing and passing TD. The Titans opened the scoring on a 5-yard sweep by Devontae McCloud, but it only took three plays for the Ravens to even the game when Bennett connected with Brandon Holloway for a 79-yard strike. Each team scored once more in the half with a 28-yard connection for the Titans from Jonathon Williams to C.J. Jackson and an 8-yard rush by Bennett.
But the second half belonged to TBT as Maurice Hagens, Williams and Cludner LaCount rushed for a combined 219 yards in the half. LaCount rushed for three scores, including a 44-yard run, while the Titans also got TD runs from Derek McDonald and Darius Anderson.
Bennett had the bulk of the Ravens offense, going 17-for-36 for 198 yards passing with two touchdowns.
