PRODUCT REVIEW: Fruits & Passion Pear Peony - a collection of bath and beauty products (shower gel, foaming bath, body butter, lip balm and eau de toilette) with the scent of pear peony; available at www.us.fruits-passion.com. Prices range from $8 to $22.

The pitch: Subtle notes of the pear tree leaves merged with a touch of magnolia are pursued by refreshing green tea and peony, creating a gentle but bold fusion.

The skinny: Fruits & Passion's Fruity Collection includes several "fresh-picked" fragrances, including orange/cantaloupe, grapefruit/guava, field berries and Georgia peach. It's latest harvest, um, launch is a delicious pear sorbet - juicy, green, sweet and delicious. The scent is combined with the benefits of sweet almond oil and blackberry leaf extract. Fruity scents can sometimes overwhelm, or cause a craving for whatever fruit you're wearing, but this is more of a fragrance interpretation. Layer it on as a day fragrance or wear it at night for a yummy sense of well-being; this collection allows you to enjoy the fruits of your labors without working too hard.

The pitch: Function meets high fashion in this Signature Work Tote with a cell phone window so you can view caller ID and texts; works with iPhones, Blackberrys, iPods and flip phones.

The skinny: It can be a hassle digging through your bag trying to find your cell phone. This Nectar tote bag solves the problem. It's designed with a special see-through compartment at the front of the bag, so you never lose sight of your cell phone - and neither does anyone else. For me, that's not such a good idea, because I own one ugly cell phone. But high-tech hotties who like to style and profile will love the attention. The bag also has a slew of compartments inside to hold your wallet, business cards, camera, keys, sunglasses and lip gloss. There's also a cell phone wallet and clutch. The tote bag is available in faux fur zebra and black.
