Highlands Regional hosting Breast Cancer Awareness Fair

SEBRING - The fourth annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fair will be held at the outpatient registration area at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Sebring from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 10.
The hospital hopes to provide information to Highlands County residents regarding the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
A panel of physicians will be available to answer the public's questions, including pathologist Dr. George Leidel, oncologist Dr. Syed Ahmed, neuro-psychologist Dr. Susan Crum, and general surgeon Dr. T.C. Lackey II.
Additional booths at the event will be staffed by Highlands Diagnostic Imaging, Relay for Life, and the American Cancer Society.
There will be door prizes, gifts and refreshments at the event, and Chili's will be matching any donations received. Proceeds will go to breast cancer research.
