Woman pushing bike across road hit by vehicle

TARPON SPRINGS - U.S. 19 is closed between Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Klosterman Road after a woman pushing her bike across the road was hit by a vehicle.
Police say the woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and that the incident is being treated as a potential traffic homicide/crime scene.
U.S. 19 is closed in both directions.
