President Obama campaigned on much-needed job creation, which should be his top priority given the several million good-paying jobs that were off-shored during the Clinton and Bush years, as well as the United States' trade deficit and debt.

The most effective way to create millions of good-paying jobs for U.S. citizens is to simply mandate that the federal government purchase only goods manufactured in the United States by its citizens and institute policies that promote companies to manufacture within the U.S. (with U.S. citizens).

The other industrialized countries, including China, have policies that their respective governments buy only products manufactured in their own countries.

Obama and the Democrats refuse to do this. And Republicans are a lost cause in this regard.
