2 suspects sought in fatal shooting of 19-year-old Tampa man

TAMPA - A 19-year-old Tampa man died Friday night after being shot at the Via Del Rio Apartments, 2301 E. Sligh Ave. Another man was stabbed, Tampa police say.
Waitus M. Howard, 35, of 10920 N. 14th St, Tampa, was confronted by two men, who stabbed him several times, police say.
Demario Gerald Edwards, of 2210 E. Minnehaha St., in Tampa, died after he was shot by one of the men as he tried to help Howard, police say. Both suspects fled.
Howard was treated and released from Tampa General Hospital.
