SEMINOLE - Running back Edwin McKinney set a school record in rushing and scored all four touchdowns as he led the Osceola Warriors to a victory over the visiting Blake Yellowjackets, who remain winless for the season.
Quarterback Mark Oliver led the Warriors in a ground game victory that saw no passes attempted in the game, but they were unnecessary as McKinney streaked for 384 yards, breaking the former school record of over 10 years by one yard.
McKinney scored midway through the first quarter on a 5-yard run, and again with a 54-yard run with 7:32 remaining in the first half.
Two plays later the Yellowjackets answered with a 37-yard touchdown run by wide receiver Marquise Kelly. Quarterback Michael McFarland followed that up with a pitch to running back Jamario Nobles, who ran 53 yards for the touchdown, tying the game 14-14 with 1:33 left in the half.
Osceola regained the lead with 14 secondsremaining in the half as McKinney ran the ball in from 2 yards, and Oliver carried in the 2-point conversion.
McKinney made a dramatic 85-yard run to score the only touchdown of the third quarter.
