TAMPA - A 26-year-old woman miffed at being kicked out of an Ybor club for not paying a $16 tab this morning called 911, even after being told by police she would be arrested if she did so.
She made the call and was arrested after making a second call, her arrest report said.
Tampa Police said Melinda Gonzalez was escorted from Club Skye when she didn't pay the tab. She also resisted security workers when they tried to cut off a wristband, police said.
Once outside, she told police she would call 911 and she was warned she would be arrested, the arrest report said.
Officers arrested Gonzalez, of Tampa, on a misdemeanor charge of making a false 911 call after she made a second call, police said.
She is being held at Orient Road Jail on a bond of $500.
