PORT RICHEY - Pasco County sheriff's deputies were looking for a 61-year-old man Wednesday who walked away from an assisted living facility Tuesday evening.
Joseph Thomas Beck left Gallo House at 9110 Star Trail, Port Richey, about 6 p.m. Tuesday, records said. The facility is near Little Road.
Beck is white, about 5-foot-9 and 270 pounds. He has gray eyes and salt-and-pepper hair. He was wearing a beige, short-sleeve shirt with fish on the back, light-brown cargo shorts and high-top gray sneakers without socks.
Beck had complained of hallucinations and depression and had unsuccessfully tried to admit himself at Community Hospital New Port Richey and Morton Plant North Bay Hospital, sheriff's spokesman Kevin Doll said in a news release.
Beck left Gallo House on foot. He has no relatives or friends in the area, according to Doll.
Anyone with information about Beck is asked to immediately call the sheriff's office or another local law enforcement agency.
