Air passengers who stink top irritants list

Stinky passengers, oversize carry-on luggage and family arguments top the list of behavior travelers abhor, the Travelocity 2009 rudeness poll reveals.
The survey of 1,600 North American travelers, released this month, found that 45 percent of North American travelers said people with "poor hygiene" were the least favorite travelers to sit next to on a flight.
Coughing or sneezing passengers were ranked second by 30 percent of respondents.
Americans said loud talking or swearing and kicking the seat were the most irritating in-flight behaviors. They said arguing families, boisterous children and rowdy college students were the most bothersome fellow travelers.
Canadians are more irritated than Americans by people in line who behave poorly, and Canadian and U.S. travelers agree that travelers who rush to deplane before those ahead of them are annoying.
