ST. PETERSBURG - The Rays announced their spring training schedule Friday, and it includes an exhibition game against the Mets at Tropicana Field on April 2.
A 15-game home schedule at Charlotte Sports Park opens March 4 against the Orioles and includes three games against the Red Sox (March 6, 16 and 30), one against the Phillies (March 12) and one against the Yankees (March 19).
Tampa Bay will visit the American League East champ Yankees in Tampa on March 5 and 18 and, as announced previously, play a game at Triple-A affiliate Durham on April 3 before opening the regular season at home on Tuesday, April 6 against the Orioles.
Individual ticket prices for games at Charlotte Sports Park will range from $8 to $25, but season tickets with discounted prices are also available. Parking is $10 for individual ticket holders and $6 for season-ticket holders who purchase season parking.
Ticket information for the exhibition against the Mets at the Trop will be announced later.
The Rays' second camp at Charlotte Sports Park will open with pitchers and catchers reporting Feb. 19.
