BRANDON - Getting home might have become a little more inconvenient for Brandon commuters.
Lithia Pinecrest Road at Orangewalk Drive, just south of Lumsden Road, is closed in both directions as Tampa Electric Co. removes a power pole and electric lines knocked to the ground, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.
A truck pulling a trailer struck a power pole at the location, the sheriff's office said. No one was inured in the accident.
Meanwhile, traffic is being diverted.
Traffic south of Lithia Pinecrest Road is being routed to Hummingbird Lane west and then south onto Bell Shoals Road and finally east on Brooker Road to Lithia Pinecrest.
Traffic headed north on Lithia Pinecrest is being routed west on Meadow Ridge Drive and then north on Durant Road.
