ZEPHYRHILLS - Sachiyo Takada of Japan and Jim Bailey of the United States were the winners of the five-day International Shuffleboard Association's World Singles Tournament.
The tournament, which ended Sunday, attracted shuffleboard players from Australia, Brazil, Canada, England, Germany, Portugal, Japan and the United States.
Takada placed first among the women and Bailey placed first among the men. Each was awarded a Golden Cue Stick as a trophy.
The tournament was played at the Betmar Acres Mobile Home Park.
