TAMPA - Three men have been indicted on charges they conducted marijuana grow operations in six houses in Pasco and Pinellas counties.
Charged in two indictments are Michael Brown, 40, and Matthew James, 31, both of Palm Harbor, and Peter James, 32, of Holiday.
Each is charged with conspiring to possess with intent to distribute 100 or more marijuana plants. If convicted, they could face a minimum mandatory sentence of five years and a maximum of 40 years in federal prison.
The grow operation began in 2007 and continued through Jan. 9, according to the indictment.
