NO. 2 FLORIDA AT MISSISSIPPI STATE

KICKOFF: 7:30 p.m.; Davis Wade Stadium, Starkville, Miss.

TV/RADIO: ESPN/1250 AM

NEED TO KNOW: Florida hasn't played well in Starkville over the years. The undefeated Gators go to Mississippi State today in search of their first win at Davis Wade Stadium since 1985. ... The talk this week has been dominated by Urban Meyer, Dan Mullen and their 10-year relationship. Mullen took over at Mississippi State after helping the Gators average 40-plus points per game for two straight seasons as Meyer's offensive coordinator. ... Mullen is often credited, along with Meyer, for popularizing the spread option offense and in three seasons under Mullen, Tim Tebow threw for 6,390 yards and 67 touchdowns and rushed for 2,037 yards with 43 scores. ... Mullen still doesn't have all the pieces to run his offensive system. Senior quarterback Tyson Lee has struggled to be consistent under center, having completed just more than 58 percent of his passes for 981 yards, three touchdowns and six interceptions. ... Bulldogs running back Anthony Dixon could cause problems for the Gators. The school's all-time leading rusher has run for 696 yards and seven touchdowns this season.
