EAST LANSING, Mich. - Ricky Stanzi connected with Marvin McNutt for a 7-yard touchdown pass as time expired and No. 7 Iowa remained undefeated with a 15-13 victory against Michigan State on Saturday night.

The Hawkeyes are 8-0 for the first time in school history and have sole possession of first place in the Big Ten.

Iowa (4-0 Big Ten) has won 12 straight dating to last season, the second-longest streak in the nation.

Michigan State (4-4, 3-2) had grabbed a 13-9 lead with 1:37 remaining when Kirk Cousins hit Blair White on a 30-yard touchdown. But the Hawkeyes stormed back with a sharp, game-winning drive led by Stanzi.

NO. 13 PENN STATE 35,

MICHIGAN 10

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Daryll Clark threw three of his four touchdown passes to Graham Zug, helping Penn State get its first win at the Big House since 1996.

The Nittany Lions (7-1, 3-1) shut down the Wolverines (5-3, 1-3) after they opened with a 70-yard TD drive.

Michigan struggled to move the ball and had four turnovers.

NO. 18 OHIO STATE 38,

MINNESOTA 7

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Terrelle Pryor threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score to lead Ohio State.

A week after a devastating 26-18 loss at two-touchdown underdog Purdue, the Buckeyes (6-2, 4-1) made Minnesota (4-4, 2-3) pay for its bad plays. The Golden Gophers had two major misplays in the secondary and two turnovers inside their own 20.

Pryor said he was a new man after four turnovers in the Purdue defeat. He played better against Minnesota, but it was difficult to tell how much because the Gophers made so many costly mistakes. Pryor hit on 13 of 25 passes for 239 yards with one interception.

PURDUE 24, ILLINOIS 14

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Joey Elliott passed for 166 yards and ran for 62 yards and a touchdown, and Purdue (3-5, 2-2) avoided a letdown after upsetting Ohio State last week.

Ralph Bolden ran for 78 yards and a touchdown, and Jaycen Taylor ran for 71 yards and a score for the Boilermakers, who rushed for 220 yards on 39 carries.

Mikel LeShoure rushed 15 times for a career-high 122 yards for the Fighting Illini (1-6, 0-5). Illinois lost its fifth straight - all by double digits.

NORTHWESTERN 29,

INDIANA 28

EVANSTON, Ill. - Stefan Demos kicked a 19-yard field goal with 21 seconds left to complete Northwestern's comeback from a 25-point deficit.

The Wildcats (5-3, 2-2) trailed 28-3 in the second quarter after Indiana (4-4, 1-3) used a 70-yard TD run from Darius Willis on the game's first scrimmage play and a 93-yard kickoff return from Ray Fisher to build the big lead.

But Mike Kafka shook off three second-half interceptions and helped the Wildcats stage their comeback.
