FSU's Ponder named ACC offensive player of the week

Florida State's Christian Ponder and Clemson's C.J. Spiller are two of the Atlantic Coast Conference's players of the week.

The league on Monday named Ponder as its offensive back of the week and Spiller as the specialist of the week.

They were joined by Florida State offensive tackle Andrew Datko, Duke linebacker Vincent Rey, Virginia nose tackle Nate Collins, and safety DeAndre McDaniel and quarterback Kyle Parker of Clemson.

Ponder threw for a career-high 395 yards in helping Florida State rally from 18 points down to beat North Carolina. Spiller set a school single-game record with 310 all-purpose yards while also catching six passes for 104 yards in the Tigers' overtime win at Miami.
