DADE CITY - Janarion Grant ran for 133 yards and Clifford Phillips ran for 110, leading Pasco to a victory over Sunlake on Pasco's homecoming night.
Sunlake (3-6) got on the scoreboard first, scoring a touchdown on a 1-yard quarterback sneak by Jacob Jackson on the second play of the second quarter. The Pirates (8-1) tied the score on their next possession with a 30-yard touchdown run by Phillips.
The score remained tied 8-8 at halftime.
After a sloppy first half in which the Pirates turned the ball over three times and committed seven penalties for 52 yards, Pasco came alive in the second half.
Grant ran for 126 yards and both of his touchdowns in the third and fourth quarters.
The Pirates' Chase Sellers had four sacks and was part of a defensive effort that limited Seahawks quarterbacks to just three completions in 19 pass attempts.
The Pirates won the Class 3A-District 7 championship and host Lakewood on Nov. 20.
