GAINESVILLE - University of Florida LB Ryan Stamper is a popular guy these days.

The Jacksonville native said he has been swamped with ticket requests for Saturday's game against Georgia.

"They said I had the Florida-Georgia game ticket record last year, but I'm about to break that this year," said Stamper, who has already has rounded up 20 tickets for the game.

Stamper said to accommodate ticket requests for family and friends, players often swap ticket allotments for games close to home.

"David Nelson gave me all four of his because I gave him all four of my LSU tickets," Stamper said.

NOT AMUSED: LB Dustin Doe became the butt of a few locker-room jokes after his premature celebration into the end zone off a 23-yard interception in the fourth quarter of the Gators' 29-19 win against Mississippi State.

Defensive coordinator Charlie Strong failed to see the humor.

"I had some pretty good words for him," Strong said. "He knew where I was coming from."

Officials reviewed the play to see whether the football crossed the plane before Doe was stripped as he swung his arms back and forth in celebration. They concluded that the play should stand, but the replay led many to believe that the ball did come out.

WATCHING GREEN: The UF defense is focused on stopping big-play WR A.J. Green on Saturday.

"He's a big receiver. He's very physical but we have two corners that we feel pretty good about and its going to be interesting to watch that matchup," Strong said.

Green has 41 catches this season for 682 yards and six touchdowns, and more than twice as many catches as the Bulldogs' second-leading receiver (Michael Moore, 19 catches).
