TAMPA - Kaleigh Cunningham had 20 kills as the University of Tampa volleyball team stretched its consecutive game winning streak to 30 with a 26-24, 28-26, 25-19 victory Friday night at home against Rollins.
The seventh-ranked Spartans improved to 24-2 and 11-1 in the Sunshine State Conference.
Setter Meghan Sherman had 44 assists for UT.
Two Spartans recorded double figures in digs as Molly Krull led the team with 13, and Cunningham turned in 11 to give her a double-double for the second straight match.
Up next for the Spartans is a critical SSC game against Saint Leo on the road on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The result of the match will have a big impact for the conference title, as Tampa trails Saint Leo by one game.
