HOLIDAY - A 47-year-old man is accused of attacking his twin brother with a machete because his brother would not stay out of his room, a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report states.
Vincent James Baker was arrested early Monday and charged with aggravated domestic battery. He was being held without bail Tuesday at Land O' Lakes Jail, the report states.
According to the sheriff's office, Vincent Baker struck his brother, Victor, on the forehead, finger and elsewhere with a machete after he told Victor Baker to stay out of his room. The Bakers live at 1344 Dartmouth Drive, Holiday. The incident happened about 2:45 a.m.
Victor Baker was bleeding profusely when deputies arrived, the report states. He was flown to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, where his condition was not immediately available.
Vincent Baker told investigators he told his brother not to enter his room or he would kill him. When Victor Baker again entered the room, Vincent Baker started swinging the machete, "striking him in the forehead and anywhere else he could," the report states.
