Orlando soldier killed in Afghanistan

ORLANDO - The Pentagon says a 27-year-old soldier from Orlando has died after his unit was attacked in Afghanistan.
The Department of Defense said Sgt. Randy M. Haney died Sunday in Nangarhar from wounds suffered after his unit was hit with small-arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades.
He was assigned to the 2nd Special Troops Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division in Fort Carson, Colo.
