WEST PALM BEACH - Authorities say they've recovered four monkeys and a parrot that had been stolen from the Palm Beach Zoo.
West Palm Beach police received a tip Thursday afternoon and found the animals at an abandoned house. No arrests have been made, but police are investigating several possible suspects.
Officials say someone used bolt cutters over the night to get through a fence at a side gate and remove three Goeldi's monkeys, a squirrel monkey and a green cheek Amazon parrot. The discovery was made Thursday morning.
