Three men are in custody on charges they robbed a dry cleaning business in St. Pete Beach on Wednesday after throwing a woman clerk into the bathroom.
The suspects are Larry Ellison, 49, of St. Petersburg; Norman Davis, 35, of St. Petersburg; and Sheldon Jackson, 33, of St. Petersburg.
Ellison and Davis are charged with robbery, kidnapping and simple battery, arrest affidavits show. Jackson is charged with being the principal to a robbery.
The men robbed Gulf Beach Cleaners & Laundry, 200 75th Ave., about 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, the affidavits say.
Two of the men – Ellison and Davis -- entered through a side door into an employees-only area and threw clerk Ilona Feher into the bathroom, arrest affidavits say. Jackson had driven them to the business to commit the robbery, the affidavits say.
At one point, Feher came out of the bathroom but was thrown back in, affidavits say.
The men stole $1,051.27 but were apprehended within minutes of the robbery, affidavits say.
