ST. PETERSBURG - Police are looking for a man who confronted a female student in a high school bathroom, then was seen 90 minutes later acting suspiciously on another high school campus.
Police say a surveillance video camera caught the man walking in a hallway at St. Petersburg High School. After school let out at 3 p.m. the man came out of a bathroom stall at the school, approached a female student who was changing clothes, and made a lewd comment.
The man fled the bathroom and ran into another female student, whom he touched inappropriately, police said.
At about 4:30 p.m., the same man was seen at Northeast High School by one of the victims from St. Petersburg High School who was there for swim practice. A staff member confronted the man and he fled. Surveillance at Northeast filmed the man wandering back and forth from double doors to a water fountain in the hallway.
Police say the suspect is white or Hispanic, 18-25 years old, 5-foot-6 and about 145 pounds. He has close-cut hair, dark, bushy eyebrows, 5 o'clock shadow beard growth and an unusually large nose.
Anyone with information should call police at (727) 893-7780.
